State Strategy to Combat Male Violence 2022-2025

The State Strategy to Combat Male Violence 2022-2025 plans and organises public policies aimed at preventing, detecting, eradicating and repairing violence against women through collaboration and coordination between the Government, Autonomous Communities and Autonomous Cities, as well as local entities. Its starting point is the responsibility of public institutions according to the obligation of due diligence. On this basis, the Strategy seeks to provide a framework of reference for public action in terms of prevention, awareness-raising, care and comprehensive reparation of all forms of gender-based violence.
The guiding principles of the Strategy are: human rights at the centre, the feminist paradigm, participation, intersectionality, due diligence, reparation, transparency and accountability, respect for the sphere of competence, financial commitment.
