National strategy for gender equality 2021-2026

Summary:

The National Gender Equality Strategy 2021-2026, which is inspired by the European Union's Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025, with a long-term perspective, represents the outline of values, the direction of policies to be implemented, and the end point in terms of gender equality. The Strategy is one of the cross-cutting priorities of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and the reference for the implementation of the Family Act reform. The goal is to gain 5 points in the EIGE's Gender Equality Index ranking. The document identified five proposal directions: gender equality, the responsibility to design the future; work, a new feminine and inclusive paradigm; science, engine of a new Renaissance; solidarity, investing for the empowerment of all; and communication: words and images to generate change.
