Summary:

The National Action Plan for Gender Equality 2021-2025 is developed in four (4) thematic Priority axes:

  • Preventing and combating gender-based and domestic violence

  • Equal participation of women in the labor market

  • Equal participation of women in decision-making positions / leadership roles

  • Gender mainstreaming in sectoral policies.

The axes were specialized based on the priorities of the General Secretariat of Family Policy and Gender Equality, the guidelines, and requirements of European and international organizations as well as the needs of modern Greek society.
