Implementation of the principle of equal opportunities and equitable treatment for both men and women in the context of employment and occupation


The purpose of this law is to ensure the implementation of the principle of equal opportunities and equal treatment of men and women in matters of employment and occupation, including:

a) access to employment, including professional advancement, and vocational training, including training for employment ("vocational training"), b) working conditions and terms, including pay, and c) professional social security systems, as provided for in the provisions of Directive 2006/54/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council.
