III Plan for Gender Equality in the General State Administration


The objectives of the plan include the following: the effective consolidation of the principle of equal treatment and equal opportunities in any field between women and men in the service of the General State Administration; awareness-raising and training of all public employees in gender equality; support for the reconciliation of personal, family and working life and co-responsibility, addressing the obstacles that limit full equality in the development of the professional career of public employees and tackling situations of direct and indirect discrimination based on sex within the Administration, with special attention to the eradication of sexism in the workplace, the prevention of sexual and gender-based harassment, the protection of victims of gender-based violence and sexual or gender-based harassment, and protection against situations of double or multiple discrimination.
