Law 1/2021, march 24th, on urgent measures regarding protection and assistance to victims of gender violence

This law addressed the impact of the pandemic on the gender violence. It implements measures aimed at guaranteeing the functioning of protections services for victims adapting them to the post-pandemic context. These reforms introduced measures such as the reinforcement of telecare services, monitoring by technological means and the need to guarantee protective equipment for women and staff to be able to accommodate victims and, where appropriate, their children, in the centers. It also asks for the organization of institutional campaigns for the prevention of the gender violence during the state of alarm. The prevision included accompanied budget provisions.
